Nuova Ruggeri was founded in 1963 as an artisan confectionery laboratory for the production of oven-baked products. The laboratory enjoyed such success that in 1993 its current specialised premises were inaugurated, which cover 10,000m2 and equipped with hi-tech automated systems for the production of croissants and buns. Today, Nuova Ruggeri is a leader with increasing success in the oven-baked confectionery industry and operates on the market with two brands: Nuova Ruggeri and La Croissanterie. Its high quality production has seen the involvement of leading retail chains and large firms granting Nuova Ruggeri its own Private Label.
Nuova Ruggeri has always placed top quality among its main goals in terms of both product and process. The company system guarantees the quality of its end products and is certified according to International Food Standards (IFS) Version 5, August 2007 issued by SQS – The Swiss Association for Quality and Management Systems. The company also strictly implements the HACCP system, meaning it can guarantee the consumer healthiness and safety. All the ingredients used in the production of Nuova Ruggeri products are very carefully selected, controlled and do not contain any GM raw material derivatives. Furthermore, no vegetable fats are used, which can cause cardiovascular illnesses in consumers. Thanks to the use of top quality raw materials, the company's pursuit, achievement and subsequent ability to maintain exceedingly high levels of hygiene and thanks to state-of-the-art processing and packaging systems, we guarantee a long shelf life of our products without using any chemical preservatives.
